Having remote access to your computer is a tremendous benefit, since you can get a lot done without being forced to disconnect it every so often. Just request a remote session online and Geek Squad Edmonton will do it for you. You can use remote access to clean up minor infections, update drivers, check for outdated plug-ins, update those plug-ins, update software, and check system settings are how you want them.
They are used by me quite frequently for exactly that reason. You can either connect on one of my computers and tell them that your system is running slowly, or you think YouTube is having trouble because you have an infection, etc. Once they leave for work, I go to work, go to bed, or have dinner. I am contacted when the job is complete. I will check it out if I am at home and can access my computer. They tell me there will be a survey waiting for me when I get home if I am not. I usually have a couple of driver problems or an issue with a Word plug-in that is causing problems, and they fix it for me.

Having said that, this next point is a personal one to me. If I could pay $50 to have it mounted for me, I would do so. Due to the fact that I have never done it regularly, I do not have the tools available or know how to do it. My parents are holding a tape measure/box or something else roughly the size of the TV to make sure that we’re not mounting it in a way which could cause problems while I am holding the mounting bracket, a pencil, and the stud-finder all at the same time.
